Public Policy Analysis

Introduces students to the principles of public policy analysis in Canada, with an emphasis on linking conceptual discussions and methods with practical applications. The course will examine prescriptive methods for weighing the costs and benefits of alternative courses of policy action, as well as methods for evaluating policy and program performance post-implementation. Prerequisites: Registration status: Year 3 or Year 4 Exclusions: PO346.
